| JOHN MAYBERRY is an Associate Professor in the
Department of Theatre, York University, Toronto, Canada. He has worked
as a carpenter, properties builder, performer, choreographer, and
writer. His many interests include folk plays, street theatre,
theatrical effects, and Health and Safety theatre. He has taught
workshops in Canada, USA, Romania, and Serbia. He is a member of the
Health and Safety Commission and the Education Commission of the United
States Institute for Theatre Technology. He served for many years on the
board of the CITT, and is currently on the Board of Theatre Ontario. He
is a past Chair, and current Vice-Chair of the Technical Commission of
OISTAT. |
