| Laura Crow is the head of the costume
working group of OISTAT’s Scenography Commission. She was a Fulbright
Scholar to the Philippines in 2002 studying multi-culturalism in
festival costumes, and organized the international symposium on carnival
design in Santiago de Cuba in July 2004. Designing for Broadway,
Off-Broadway (resident designer for Circle Rep for 13 years) and most US
Regional Theatres, she has won many awards. Among them are the Drama
Desk, OBIE, Villager, three Drama-Logue awards, Joseph Jefferson, Bay
Area Critics, and four ZONIs. Five times, her work was part of the
American Theatre Design exhibition at the Prague Quadrennial. Laura is
a professor at the University of Connecticut and actively designs for
professional theatre. |
