| Steve has designed sound around the world, most notably in Tokyo, Madrid, Budapest, Amsterdam and most recently at the Strehler Teatro in Milan. He was sound designer for the Scenofest Stage at the The Prague Quadrennial 2003, where he was also invited to present his work. His extensive theatre credits include, for The Royal Shakespeare Company, Richard III directed by Sam Mendes; Trevor Nunns Measure for Measure and The Blue Angel (also West End); The Taming of the Shrew; Romeo and Juliet; The Beaux Stratagem and A Midsummer Nights Dream. As a resident Sound Engineer at The National Theatre of Great Britain his numerous credits include, Sweeney Todd, The Wind in the Willows and Leave Taking. His West End credits include, Lady Windermere’s Fan, Animal Crackers and Burning Issues. Steve is Head of Sound for The Royal Exchange Theatre Company, Manchester where he has designed over 65 productions including, Harvey, Sex, Chips and Rock n’ Roll; Anthony and Cleopatra; Playboy of the Western World; Twelfth Night; Cold Meat Party; The Seagull; Othello; American Buffalo; Uncle Vanya; Les Blancs; Snake in Fridge; Ghosts; Peer Gynt; An Experiment with an Airpump The Road to Mecca and Miss Julie. He has recently completed the sound design for Nathan the Wise at Hampstead Theatre, London. | ||
