| Ursula Belden’s work has been seen On Broadway, Off
Broadway, in Regional Theaters from coast to coast, in Europe and in
Canada. NY credits include nearly three dozen new plays, numerous
American premieres and several award winning classics. A recipient of
numerous New York and national awards, her work has regularly been
selected for inclusion in the Prague Quadrennial. She has conducted
workshops in Berlin, London, Bali and Kathmandu, and has just returned
form Hong Kong where she worked as a Fulbright Senior Specialist. A
graduate of the Yale School of Drama, Belden is a Distinguished
Professor at Ohio University and has served as guest professor at
London’s Central St. Martin’s. Belden co-designed and co-curated the
American exhibit for the 2003 Prague Quadrennial and designed the first
World Stage Design Exhibit in Toronto in 2005. |
