Krystyna Meissner is Artistic Director of Teatr Wyspolczesny Wroclaw ( Contemporary Theatre ) and Director of the renowned biennial Dialog Festival.    She has been Director of many innovative productions in Warsaw, Torun, and at the Stary Theatre in Krakow. She travels world-wide looking for new and experimental work to bring to Dialog.  Each festival has a theme and poses a philosophical question, and conducts daily dialogues with spectators and artists after each performance.  These dialogues are lively theatre events in themselves.  Using   DVD clips from her festivals she will give an overview of some of the provocative productions she has presented, and she will also invite listeners to tell her what is new in their country and what she should be looking for during the next four years.    This is a rare chance to speak directly to an approachable and open minded  Festival Director.   There will be a suggestion box where  addresses and contacts can be posted.
