“Jay Bolotin was born in  Fayette County, Kentucky in 1949. Fine Artist : Maker of The Jackleg Testament – an opera film of animated woodcuts and puppets and  Limbus  A Mechanical Opera Work by this prolific writer,composer,performer, stage designer, visual artist and filmmaker  is included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), the Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Seattle Art Museums, The Australian National Museum in Canberra and the New York Public Library.   Bolotin will have a major exhibition with performances  at the John Hansard Gallery Southampton  UK and Edinburgh in 2008. “
