DISTORTED SOUND DESIGN is primarily an exploration of how different components of an amplification system are used in an unconventional fashion to add visual and auditory expression. During this presentation, Nancy Tobin will discuss how the different methods used to create a sound environment enable her to achieve a unique design that actively participates in the dramatic development of a theatre or dance work.
