2D Designs of costumes and stage for Aristophanes Birds (BDA_CZ04) |

I wanted to make a quiet simple solving for Aristophanes’s text, which
can be use with poor theatrical equipment. For costumes I intended to
use some old, recycled materials, for example old clothes, old rubber,
dirty plastic etc. But there are also a colour and airiness in my
costumes. Stage is shaped with a composition of some boxes (mansions),
made from slim wooden panels. The composition is changing during the
performance and a skeleton of a construction is opened up. |
