| An installation-performance
made by the students specializing in Stage Design at the Drama
Department of the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of
Thessaloniki, Greece within the course “Scenography Workshop II(Scenographic
applications:Synthesis)”, tutor: Apostolos Vettas. The performance took place at Kleio Theatre of Drama Department. Students were called to work on Aristophane’s Birds. On this occasion, they experimented on the laws of theatrical scenery design, as well as on the fundamental rules of the mechanical operation of theatrical scenes with the objective to compose a mise-en-scene that would take advantage of possibilities offered by modern theatrical technology.
