I
choose Aristophanes’s
“Birds” play because it’s set in an imaginary world as well as it
represents problems and solutions of the world of Athens and todays
world.
The story starts on the ground and ends up in a better world than
Athens, over the clouds.
I would like to present the last scene: There are lots of swings and
they are in different sizes. My goal was to represent flying and freedom
with the swings. They also bring dynamism to the stage. They are blue
and hang with chains, which look simple but strong.
The play starts in a more regular scene and ends up in a new state which
is over the clouds, full of swings. |
