The Birds- Structural Insight to Societal Institution (BDA_US21) |

In my design for The Birds I used the concept of
societal destruction being inevitable as a circular structural design
used throughout the avian costuming. These costumes would be constructed
from wood, paper, glass as well as fabrics. The irony is that
Pisthtairos and Euelpides wish to leave a strictly structured society
and enter themselves into another society with just as rigid, albeit
more beautiful, structure.
