Brandon Kirkham is a graduate student in Theater at Ohio University, where he will receive his MFA in 2008.  In 2005 he received a bachelor’s degree in Theatre from the University of Evansville, and in 2003 studied abroad at Harlaxton College in Grantham, England.  Brandon is a Costume and Scenic Designer, with strong interests in crafts, props, and puppets.   In 2006 some of his puppets were featured alongside those of Burr Tillstrom and Frank Ballard in at an exhibit in Holland, Michigan.  Brandon has designed for three summers at Hope Summer Repertory Theatre, and in summer 2006 received the distinction of ‘Outstanding Apprentice’ at the Santa Fe Opera for his work in the costume crafts shop, and his designs for the apprentice scenes.  Brandon contributed to Ohio University’s PQ Student Exhibit submission, and is assisting with the “Reaching for the Heavens” workshop.
