| Laura Crow is the head of the costume working group of
OISTAT’s Scenography Commission. She was a Fulbright Scholar to the
Philippines in 2002 studying multi-culturalism in festival costumes, and
organized the international symposium on carnival design in Santiago de
Cuba in July 2004. Designing for Broadway, Off-Broadway (resident
designer for Circle Rep for 13 years) and most Regional Theatres of the
US, she has won many awards. Among them are the Drama Desk, OBIE,
Villager, three Drama-Logue awards, Joseph Jefferson, Bay Area Critics,
and four ZONIs. Five times, her work was part of the American Theatre
Design exhibition at the Prague Quadrennial. Laura is a professor at
the University of Connecticut and actively designs for professional
theatre. |
