Assistant Professor of Theatre at Oakland University, Michigan (USA), Pavlo Bosyy has earned his MA in History and Political Science from Kirovohrad State University (Ukraine) and his MFA in Scenography from Ohio University (USA). He has taught Theatre Arts, History, and Humanities for nearly 15 years at the university level. He designed, directed or performed in over 50 projects at regional and academic theatres in Ukraine and the USA and Off-Broadway companies. Pavlo’s works participated at SETC, ACTF, USITT’s Young Designers’ Forum and Ming’s Clambake.  He founded an English-language company, The Little Globe Theatre, located at the Pedagogical Academy in Kirovohrad, Ukraine, a graduate school of education. He enjoyed serving as the Artistic Director/Producer as well as stage director, scenographer, sound designer, actor and dramaturge at various times. Credits include plays and musicals by Chekhov, Shakespeare, Pushkin, Genet, Ionesco, Beckett, Berlin, Brecht, Dykes, Razumovskaia, Jose Rivera, Krasnogorov, Shaw, August Wilson, Kander and Ebb, Kalman, Kopit and Yeston, Cole Porter, Rodgers and Hart and others.
