| Graduated at the stage design
department at Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and at the
Department of Theatre Studies at the University of Amsterdam. For two seasons worked as assistant set designer for Toneelgroep Amsterdam. Works as free lance set designer with renown play directors as well as young upcoming directors for various theatre companies in the Netherlands and Belgium. In 2005 She received the Charlotte Köhler prize for her oeuvre as a young set designer. In 1999 she exhibited in the PQ Prague with a design in the student pavillion for Woy. Amongst her work: 2006: De Theatercompagnie, scenography for ‘De vrouw van vroeger’ director Theu Boermans; 2005: Suzy Blok, Scenography for dance production ‘Paradox of desire’ and Rogaland Theater Stavanger, Scenography and costumes for ‘Krig’, author Lars Noren, director Victoria Meirik; 2004 Het Toneelhuis Antwerp, Scenography and production ‘Begijnenstraat 42’ at the prison of Antwerp, director Lotte van den Berg. |
