Stage and Puppet design
	Established in 1949, the ACADEMY OF MUSIC AND DRAMATIC ARTS Bratislava rapidly gained an enviable reputation for producing graduates who became the cornerstones of modern Slovak theatre. Since its foundation, the Academy with its three faculties (Theatre Faculty, Faculty of Music and Dance, Faculty of Film and TV) has offered a wide range of courses in theatre, drama, puppetry, music, dance, film and television. THE THEATRE FACULTY provides training in the following fields: acting, directing and dramaturgy, stage and costume design, theatre management, theatre theory, puppetry. Since 1977, the Faculty has organised a biennial International Festival of Theatre Schools Project Istropolitana, which has gained a huge international reputation and support of many Slovak and international institutions.
