Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Stage and Costume Design Department was founded in 1958 as “Theatre Décor and Costume Studio” under the structure of İstanbul State Academy of Fine Arts. In 1996 it was restructured as Stage Design, Costume Design, Puppet and Shadow-play Design Branches. Our graduates work as stage, costume designers and art-directors in theaters, Cinema-TV, advertisement, festival, ceremony design activities.
